Toyota CenterThe Toyota Center opened in 2003 and is home to the NBA's Houston Rockets and the AHL's Houston Aeros.

Spanning six city blocks, the Toyota Center has been lauded for its unique design and atmosphere that has fans raving.

For example, the center won the Allen Award for Civic Enhancement by Central Houston in 2003. And it was a finalist for Pollstar Magazine's "Best New Concert Venue" award.

One of its unique features is a playing surface that is nearly 32 feet below street level, which gives it the largest lower level of any arena in the nation.

The 20,000-seat arena cost more than $235 million to construct. Besides being the home arena of the Houston Rockets, the venue has hosted world-class performing artists, including Michael Bublé, Carrie Underwood, Shakira, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
