The San Jacinto Mall is a regional shopping center located just 20 minutes from downtown Houston and contains more than 100 retail stores and restaurants. In fact, the 1.2-million-square-foot mall also includes a Premiere Cinemas II and a two-story carousel in its indoor 'Circus Play Park.'

Major department stores include Macy's, JCPenney, Marshalls, Palais Royal, and Sears.

The mall first opened in 1981 and was one of the largest in the area at the time.
